It’s not good for any other pube trimming (too wimpy) but it can clean up the stubble in that zone, where I’m unable to safely maneuver the 2mm guard with any precision. I experienced this firsthand during my experimentation period.) I trim the bottom of the shaft near the vein or whatever with the foil shaver attachment. I shave the downstairs after I shower a few times a week using the 2mm face stubble guard (the body groom guards aren’t close enough and the 1mm or unguarded takes much more care and you’re liable to cut yourself. I wanted something for travel, though, something more compact and versatile. Id recommend it, though.' However the Remington goes down only to 2mm, while Philips go down to 0.5mm. So my bottom line is that this trimmer works very well but requires shifting around that the Norelco doesnt. The philips one blade is a trimmer and shaver in one. Another issue is that I have to change blades to detail my mustache edges (unlike on the Norelco) - but the edger works very well. For an example shaving a thin line above your upper lip. But keep in mind, its only a trimmer so its not good for shaping up the edges of your beard. Norelcos typically have more CPM, and unless youre constantly using beard oil and a hydrating shampoo and conditioner every day, a higher CPM cuts through wiry. Multigroom does as youd expect, offering a lot of options for grooming multiple areas on your body. It doesn’t stay clean easily but i could get a close shave in like 5-10 minutes twice a week all over (shaft, balls, groin, butt). I did find a good trimmer now Philips 5000 serie BT5515/15. For a beard trimmer, Norelco is the way to go. The body groom side sucks ass but the foil shaver is great for pubes. Paired with a stainless steel cutting blade, you will never need to worry about corrosion if the device hasn’t been fully dried. Fully washable, the beard trimmer is a perfect pick for guys who favor a minimalist and easy-to-use design. When I tried again I bought the Norelco Body Groomer. The sleek design of the Philips Norelco 5000 beard trimmer is an instant upgrade to any bathroom countertop. First time I tried I used a razor and I got massive razor burn, had to get some ointment from the doctor (embarrassing). ![]()
